I've watched the end of the movie. The movie looks like the "Jumper" movie in some ways.

I believe they are the representation of self-sabotage. It's like "Ok now you know the power you got, but we are going to do everything we can to stop you"

It's not just ONE show, it's a series of weird shows about science.
