68 Seconds of thought

Post by neilm76 »

Well I always look for things to help me focus and found one for following Abraham Hicks 68 seconds of thought. Watch the videos I linked below and think of the emotion that what your goal will bring you. These pertain to money but I am sure there are more out there.

Once again this is dealing with the "Conscious Mind".

Here's a page on the 17 second story.

http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/Abr ... id/5617125" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Now read carefully this part.

"...And so we (Abraham) were wanting to assist her(Esther) in holding 17 seconds of pure thought. She had three very important issues that were troubling her; financial issue and a health issue and a relationship issue. And we said to her; "Leave those issues aside for a while, because those issues you have practiced your negative thought about them so much, that as you now try to practice positive thought it is still a watered down sort of process.

We said to her: "Lets take three subjects that you do not already have a habit of negative thought about".
"

You see what I mean?

Now why would Abraham tell Esther to do the 17 seconds focus on anythign EXCEPT money, health and relationships? Maybe because we have a Doorman that filters out anything that we have a hard time believing that we will attract easily like money, health and relationships mmmmm what you think hehe ;)

Remember what I said yesterday, that a focus on lack of something brings more problem than we are helping because the positive thought (ex: money comes easily for me) gets rejected by the Doorman and what goes instead in the SM? Yup you guessed it the negative belief "money doesn't come easily for me" and guess what your SM will attract you?

Once again, folks forget about trying to train the brain during the day unless you are working with subliminals otherwise you won't believe yourown "too good to be true" stories like finding money on every corner and you will send thoughts of lack in your SM and wonder why money never comes to you.

Oh yeah one more thing.

NAPs have proved to work pretty fast on basic none important issues. Remember Tre with her yellow bird story? It's the same thing as the butterflies in the 17 seconds of focus story. Tre implanted the idea directly in her SM WITHOUT believing and focusing on it during the day while Esther attracted butterflies while focusing 17 seconds on them.

I know NAPs are awesome. I have definately seen an increase in my winnings since utilizing them. But I sometimes feel my mind begin to wander and look for things to help get it back in line.

Do you think it is beneficial or actually hindering me in your experience?

My take on this is simple...

If you want to work during the day on something you want and that you wanted this thing sooooooo bad for months or years now, then I would suggest that you only use the NAPs at night because like I said above, if you wanted something for a while and you never managed to attract it, it's because it gets filtered all the time by The Doorman and the only thing that passed thought and enters your SM is not the positive affirmation or thought of the desire but the fact that you are lacking this thing so you keep on sending your SM the thought "you see another day without having what I want" and your SM gets the "message" and keeps on attracting you days where you don't have what you want.

In other words, unless you use subliminals that bypasses The Doorman, I would suggest that you not only avoid searching for methods to use during the day to attract what you want faster but that you TOTALLY forget about what you want even though this is almost impossible to do for most human beings.

If you are in a deep financial hole for example, you can't help yourself to think about money all the time but you don't realize that you are shooting yourself in the foot because everytime you think about what you lack, you send lack to your SM and you doom yourself to attract more lack in the future.

Make sure you clean your SM of all the negative belief on the topic you focus on and then do a Goal NAP and just forget about it during the day and if you catch yourself thinking about the thing you lack, just know and trust that at night your NAP is brainwashing your SM "this is what i want...this is what i want...this is what i want...this is what i want..."

I can attest to this - only naps for me from now on!

I see your points. Much appreciated. One thing I can attest to and I have said this before is that the simple line of "You release all negative associations towards money from your SM" has helped me not look at things from a lack point anymore. I don't fear bills, rent payments or anything for that matter. I also read somewhere turning around your thoughts on bills. Instead of looking at them as a bill, look at it as "an appreciation of service". I give Rogers cable X amount of dollars for appreciation of their service. This little twist helps.

Yeah exactly, well done.

I'm not sure that loving bills will attract money but not hating them might stop attracting more bills.
