It really depends, there are different beliefs that can obviously be shaken and convinced by evidence. As above so below. True beliefs and the inner worlds can affect the apparently outer world, but this is true for the outer world as well.

If someone changed his beliefs to the point he has green eyes and doesn't removed the limiting beliefs it is possible that the evidence that he has green eyes on itself is enough to make him throw away the limiting beliefs and he keep the eyes. Or perhaps he doesnt, but I say there is a chance that he does.

I think you can remove them through hypnotherapy or meditation because you have reached the SM level so its like entering the computer room, you can then reprogram all your beliefs from there.
