Anyone heard of roguelikes?
They're so graphic simple (usingn texts or ascii) yet so complex at the same time! (ADOM, ADOM 2, etc)
Once I finished my Astral NAP, I will be doing a programming NAP.
Why I wanted to make a roguelike is because they don't require fancy graphics so I don't have to spend my time on that, instead I could work on content and AI (Would Really like to make an amazing AI!)
Though one thing problem is whenever I encounter the errors or so many letters in Programming like Python or C++, I don't know why but it gets me discouraged and confused?
Well I'm not planning to give this up, and I'm still determined in making games, first I got to learn C++ or Python. Might instead learn C++, more powerful.
Not really sure though.
Maybe I should get someone to dowse or use MT my question on what kind of programming language I should use.
One thing for sure I'm not that reliable with the pendulum (WHY CAN"T YOU WORK PUNY PENDULUM! Lol Kidding kidding! )
But I'm not going to going to ask questions, serious questions included with my pendulum since I don't trust it yet.
Well, Happy 2013 to everyone!
Roguelikes
Re: Roguelikes
Also, there is this nother roguelike called Unreal World.
Good Survival game!
The creator takes his time and stuffs, but right now he is implenting a major ai that animals will hunt each other like wolves and elks and such.
Which in my opinions is awesome!
