Reading about everything on this forum I realized just how much I really don't know about the subconscious mind. For example the cleaning line, it seems so simple. I look at it and I think to myself, how the hell does my subconscious mind know what beliefs to clear? Does it just know? Or does it search for them? Sort of like when you have a problem, give up on it and walk away and come back to it and have the answer?
It's hard to understand what exactly the subconscious is because I still look at it through the filter of the conscious mind. Like what's right or wrong, or good for me, or bad for me, or possible, or impossible. When really the subconscious doesn't take any of that into account right? It essentially takes whatever programming it has learned and that's how your reality is.
I read Merlin's book and something stuck out to me which was that emotions need to be with words to create a new belief. But clearing statements don't really have much emotion behind them and they still work? So why is it that one can issue a command to the subconscious mind about clearing a belief and have it happen, but in order to achieve a goal it's recommended to use emotions as well?
I guess that's just the ongoing mystery of the subconscious mind and getting things to stick.

Me neither, welcome to the club.elementary_vision wrote:Reading about everything on this forum I realized just how much I really don't know about the subconscious mind.
First of all the ebook was written in May 2011 and A LOT as changed in this research since then so it was mostly to introduce terms like The Doorman, NAPs and Limiting Beliefs that we need to clear.elementary_vision wrote:I read Merlin's book and something stuck out to me which was that emotions need to be with words to create a new belief.
As for why NAPs without emotions work, I believe that just by doing a NAP to acquire a goal covers the emotion part and the thought part is covered by the words in the NAP. In other words the SM will mix the words and the desire later on when it hears the NAP.
As for the clearing of limiting beliefs, we don't know how or why the SM can find and remove any limiting belief but we also know that it was the one storing that old belief at the beginning so we don't need to know how, as long as it masters in adding and removing beliefs, that's all we care about because this is what NAPs are telling our SM to do.
Btw, this is why you will see me post videos of Bashar which is a guy (Darryl Anka) channeling an entity called Bashar. It's because when you do research on the LOA, you learn about Conscious Mind and Subconscious Mind and Consciousness and all kinda of stuff that is NOT science related and more spiritual and metaphysical.
So if you can't find answers in the science side, then you go on the metaphysical to see what's out there. It doesn't mean that you need to go on the spiritual path and start meditating, selling everything and leave for Tibet here. Just take a peek to see if you wouldn't find any answers and "logical explanations" for all this weird stuff and I found out that this Bashar had many very logical and interesting answers.
Listen to how he talks about teleportation. This is a VERY LOGICAL explanation and it fascinates me.

I have been searching for the last few hours on the term "Subconscious Mind reboot and reformat" but couldn't find anything.MonsterLord wrote:More like it execute them like a very erratic Commodore 64 lol.

Well when I first heard of Bashar I was like, eh this is a little too much. But like you said after science starts failing to explain most of this, you gotta look elsewhere.
His teleportation explanation did make sense. Which surprised me because I wasn't expecting something so believable.
Damn secrets of the universe haha.
