Some thoughts on all this

First I want to say that the higher mind seems like a very vague concept. And vibrations seem equally vague. But we can all agree that beliefs are important. Now I'm open to most things, but the fact that we can't be aware of our own vibrational state or measure it makes it very difficult to understand. I'm not discounting the higher mind, I accept the possibility of it existing, but I feel it is not as tangible as say the subconscious mind.
And here's something else. What if the higher mind is actually another subconscious belief? What if it's actually a creation of our own minds and the belief in a higher mind makes it so? What if most people create this higher mind archetype because they have trouble accepting that they are in control and they create their reality. What if all the channeling of beings or spirits is really just a coping mechanism because we cannot fathom our own power?
Think of it this way. If you had some average joe come to you explaining LOA and how to get anything you want, you'd instantly be skeptical right? We're just humans and everything we've been led to believe over the years tells us we have limits. But imagine that same guy comes to you claiming he channeled some being that knows the truth. You may not immediately believe him, but this being makes it seem more plausible and adds an element of mystery. In your mind this being has none of the associations with being human and limits people tend to attach to that word. By putting faith into some higher power, you transcend those limiting beliefs that might still exist inside of you that are related to your own power.
Which reminds me of an occult forum I was looking at one time. I believe someone used spongebob as a deity to attract wealth into their life. It worked. And I believe it worked because suddenly the power was no longer in their hands but an outside source. But we have to question, why we need that outside source? Is it because of limiting beliefs? Or is it that an energized thought form does exist somewhere in a plane of existence and the more people who believe in it lends power to it? Then others can tap into this source of energy and manifest easily.
I mean think about ancient civilizations and their gods. Many people laugh that they would worship these fake beings. But what if their belief in them helped them harness the LOA? Better crops, more rain, etc. The more people who believed in these gods, the more powerful the collective conscious was.
I think the problem is we have a split right down the middle of individuals. You have the "skeptics", who aren't skeptics. They just outright refuse to believe that there is more to this world and demand proof. Their beliefs act as manifestations as well and stomp out anything that conflicts with their reality. Then you have individuals who go too far. Believing in deities and higher powers, crystal powers, etc. The new agers I guess. They aren't bad people, it's just that reality and the one most people hold conflict with each other greatly. One seems more real and the other one is very woo. I believe we are moving to a more middle ground over the years, but it's very hard.
So I guess I wrote a novel here. Any thoughts? Arguments? I'd love to hear what others think.
