I can't play my NAPS at night anymore because WAVE under master volume keeps setting its self to off/0 has anyone ever had this problem?

Just got a CD player 
ill just burn it onto a CD and play it and saves my laptop from being on all night.
Edit: I can plug my mp3 player into it to!
It would still be nice to have a fix for my laptop though.
