The first one I got is 5+4=9 (moved the bottom left stick of the six to get a five)
The second one I got it 8-4=4 but he already did that so it doesn't count
And the third and last solution is 0+4 = 4
Or you could make it interesting by using ≠ sign

I got almost the same thing but my 18 is for the locket (heart) and my 54 is for the chain.
Watch = 144
Locket = 18
Chain = 54
Looking back at the 2nd equation...
Watch + Heart = 3 chains
If I use my numbers I got
144 + 18 = 3 X 54
or
162 = 162
And if I use yours
144 + 54 = 3 X 18
198 = 54
You were close though.

Horse = 10 X only 1 horseshoe = 2

Oh my heck, this got past me. I was able to see this next time. How do you fare with a newspaper crossword puzzle?

Not so much with those but to find hidden words, I'm very good at this, finding any usually within seconds. I prefer puzzles because they give me a challenge.
